Suzanne
Crane Engineering was established in 1990 as a sole proprietorship specializing
in civil engineering projects. In May 1994, Suzanne Crane Engineering, Inc. was
formed, and is now doing business as (dba) Crane & Merseth Engineering/Surveying

services to engineering firms in the Portland area. She began to recruit staff
for technical assignments from her network of associates created when she was an
instructor at Mt. Hood Community College Engineering Department. The
originating emphasis was on providing jobs for her top students. During this
time, and as other professionals joined the team, the firm expanded its
capabilities in providing professional services to public and private clients in
the Portland area. Projects included engineering studies, engineering designs
and surveying services.
